Aslla means…

Aslla is an ancient city from Silla Dynasty (57 BC-935 AD), now called as Gangneung, meaning 'great ocean and spirit of beautiful nature'. As its ancient name shows, Gangneung is surrounded by picturesque scenes and landscapes including emerald blue ocean of East Sea and breathtaking panoramic view of magnificent Taebaek ranges, which turn into pure white snowy mountains during winter time. Selected as a host site for 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, the city offers relaxation and healing of the mind in a quiet, peaceful village in the heart of East Asia.
